Viaplay to exit US, UK, and Poland markets

In the second quarter of 2023, the Nordic broadcaster reported a net loss of SEK5,886m (£443.5m), a stark contrast to the modest quarterly profit recorded in the previous year.

Viaplay is cutting a quarter of its workforce and making the difficult decision to withdraw from competitive markets, such as US and UK, along with Poland and the Baltic States to focus on its core Nordic territories and the Netherlands. Read more

STS makes landmark sports club partnership in Poland

Poland’s leading bookmaker, STS, has entered into a partnership with GKS Katowice, becoming the first bookmaker in the country to sign a multi-section agreement with a sports club.

Under the agreement, STS has become the official sponsor for all four sections of GKS GieKSa Katowice S.A. This includes supporting the women’s football club, the ice hockey champions, the volleyball section, and the first-league GKS Katowice men’s football club. Read more

4) Your personal data will be retained for the duration of the Product development term but for no less than the retention period required under the law.
5) Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
6) You have the right to access the personal data held about you and to have your data rectified or erased or to restrict or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. If your personal data is processed under Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR (i.e. processed on the basis of the consent you have given to the processing), you may withdraw your consent at any time without any impact on the lawfulness of the processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
