HOWE WE CREATE THE HIGH-QUALITY SPORTS DATA FEED
Today, I would like to share with you the sports we cover in ScoutsFeed. But first, a little bit about how we create this great data feed and the clue’s in the name. ScoutsFeed is data collected by our huge army of scouts and backed up by a large team of quality control editors working out of our head offices in Katowice.
SPORT RELATIONS DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE
I could leave it there, but there’s so much more. Our scouts work via the lowest latency TV streams or from the venues. When the data is collected directly from the venue, it’s one of the quickest feeds around. Live data delivered in under 2 seconds! Yes, I know – it’s fast! “The STATSCORE treatment” means that we are constantly looking to increase the number of sports we cover, which now stands at 13, and the percentage of events we cover from venues.
No getting away from it, we have to start with the most popular sport on the planet, soccer! It’s played by over 250 million players in over 200 countries. The last world cup (2018, held in Russia) was watched by more than 4 billion people and ScoutsFeed now covers leagues and competitions from all around the world.
The record-breaking Super Bowl final LIII is still fresh in the minds of fans. A final that saw some long-standing records broken. If this wasn’t enough, he also became the oldest Quarterback to win and play in a Super Bowl final.
Another great sport. For those of you that don’t know, Badminton is a racquet sport that’s played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Badminton is also an Olympic sport and played regularly by some 220 million people. A large number of these are based in Asia, but did you know that the UK has 4 million registered players and that’s 8% of the population.

I know what you’re thinking, not the fastest sport in the world, but it is played in 51 counties across 6 continents! And just because it’s not the first sport that comes to mind, we believe that all sports fans should be able to follow their favourite sports, teams and players.
What a great game. Some of you out there will know that STATSCORE’s head office is based in Poland and last year, Poland won the Men’s Volleyball World Championships to retain the title they won four years earlier on home soil! But Poland is not alone in its passion for Volleyball. The FIVB has 5 continental confederations that are made up of over 200 counties.

Tennis is one of the most popular we cover. I’m sure I don’t need to tell anyone that it’s a racket sport that can be played in singles or doubles format and that there are also team events such as the Hoffman Cup.
