FIFA approves $1.5 bn COVID-19 relief plan

Gianni Infantino, the FIFA president, has announced a plan that includes grants and loans as a relief fund to help associations impacted by the pandemic. The global support fund will provide $1.5 bn to assist the football community.

The FIFA Council has also endorsed changes to the International Match Calendar caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
