Football Australia and 10 ViacomCBS announce landmark media rights deal

Football Australia has entered a landmark media rights agreement with 10 ViacomCBS for the broadcast of matches of the Australian National Teams and the FFA Cup.

The agreement includes all Westfield Matildas and Socceroos matches outside of FIFA World Cup Finals plus the next four seasons of the FFA Cup from Round of 32 matches onwards. Read more

Neymar gets closer to Pelé’s scoring record

Neymar is currently the second top goalscorer in the history of his national team – right behind Pelé.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward scored his 68th goal in Brazil’s 4-0 victory over Peru during Copa America, surpassing Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima. Pelé had scored 77 goals for Brazil in his career. Read more

Sports betting to go live at tribal casinos in Washington state

The authorities of Washington are taking efforts to ensure that sports-betting revenues stay in the state and help local communities.

The state authorities have approved 15 newly negotiated tribal compact agreements, an important step in the process that would soon allow sports betting to go live at tribal casinos. Read more

UEFA has officially reacted to the trend of removing sponsor bottles from the view of cameras, which was started by Cristiano Ronaldo.
