Colorado bettors wager over $25 million in first month of legal betting

Coloradans placed $25.6 million in bets during the first month of legal sports betting in their state. The industry kicked off on May 1, and despite the absence of major US sports, managed to attract a lot of interest from bettors.

Sports fans in Colorado were at first limited to wagering on ping pong, golf, UFC fights, NASCAR and Korean baseball.

NFL working on rules for new season

The NFL works on developing COVID-19 protocols for a return to play.

According to reports from ESPN one of the major obstacles in negotiations with players is how to classify COVID-19 if a player contracts the virus during practice or a game throughout the 2020 season.

FIFA reveals schedule for 2022 World Cup

Al Bayt Stadium will be the stage for hosts Qatar to kick off the tournament on Monday, 21 November 2022 at 13:00 local time (11:00 CET). FIFA confirmed the schedule of the tournament.

During the group stage, four games per day will be played.  The final match will kick off on December 18 at 18:00 at Lusail Stadium in front of an 80,000 crowd. Read more
