Bruin Capital acquires Oddschecker for $215 million

The American investment firm has agreed to buy sports betting affiliate Oddschecker from Irish gambling giant Flutter Entertainment.

The website that compares betting odds offered by 28 bookmakers is changing hands for the fourth time since its foundation in 1999. The platform currently has over 120 clients with operations in the UK, the US, Italy, and Spain. Read more

Television betting ads reduced by 47% during Euro 2020

The number of television betting adverts shown on ITV during Euro 2020 has been cut by almost half compared to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

According to data released by the broadcaster, a total of 85 such ads appeared on ITV and ITV4 during the Euro 2020 group stages – 47% less than the 161 betting adverts shown on the same channels during the group stage of the last World Cup three years ago. Read more

British authorities condemn racist abuse of England’s Black players

UK authorities, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prince William, condemned the racist abuse targeted at some of England’s players.

Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho have been subject to racist attacks on social media after the team’s widely watched loss to Italy in the Euro 2020 final.

3) Furnishing the personal data requested by STATSCORE about yourself is voluntary.

5) Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
6) You have the right to access the personal data held about you and to have your data rectified or erased or to restrict or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability.
