Global value of sports media rights reaches $55bn

The global value of sports media rights reached $55.07bn this year and is expected to break the $60bn barrier in 2024, according to SportBusiness’ Global Media Report.

The forecast increase in the value of media rights is connected, among other factors, with the deals for National Football League and Indian Premier League.

The combined worldwide media rights value of all sports properties has increased by 1.1 per cent, from $54.45bn last year. Read more

First NFL match streamed on a betting app

Caesars Sportsbook streamed the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts live within its sportsbook app.

The National Football League has allowed the betting company to live stream a match in the US for the first time, with a low latency feed of the clash between the Indianapolis Colts and the Dallas Cowboys available via Caesars Sportsbook. Read more

Atos named Official Technology Partner of UEFA National Team Football

The partnership, which will run until 2030, sees Atos become UEFA’s Official Technology Partner for all men’s national team competitions.

The 8-year partnership to deliver technological support of UEFA’s national competitions as part of the organization’s technological evolution.

The supported events will include UEFA EURO, UEFA Nations League Finals, European Qualifiers, UEFA European Under-21 Championship, and the UEFA Futsal EURO. Read more

Betsson opens Latam headquarters in Bogota

Betsson has officially launched its Latin American hub to reflect the role of the region as a key contributor of revenue for the operator.

“Latin America is a special region for us, so I’m especially excited about opening this operations centre in Bogota,” said Betsson Group CEO Jesper Svensson.

The company has been present in Latin America since 2008 and is currently active in Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. Read more

The company has informed that it will be shutting down operations this month.

3) Furnishing the personal data requested by STATSCORE about yourself is voluntary.
4) Your personal data will be retained for the duration of the Product development term but for no less than the retention period required under the law.
5) Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
6) You have the right to access the personal data held about you and to have your data rectified or erased or to restrict or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. If your personal data is processed under Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR (i.e. processed on the basis of the consent you have given to the processing), you may withdraw your consent at any time without any impact on the lawfulness of the processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
