ICE London postponed until 2022
Clarion Gaming has decided that ICE London will not take place in 2021 because of the concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“As a consequence of the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and the continuing uncertainty in our markets, the decision to move the world’s leading gaming industry and affiliate events into the summer of 2021 has been necessary and follows close consultation with the international community of stakeholders, many of whom requested more time for both the industry and the world economy to stabilize including an easing of regulations covering international business travel,” said Clarion Gaming Managing Director, Kate Chambers.
The next edition of the event will take place at ExCeL London (1-3 February 2022) alongside iGB Affiliate London (3-5 February).

Premier League stadiums among vaccination centers
Selhurst Park, home ground of Crystal Palace, is one of 39 new vaccination centers opened in the UK. Aston Villa’s famous Holte End at Villa Park will also become a vaccination hub.
There are more sports venues in the country that have been used as vaccination sites. Jabs are also being administered at Colchester FC’s Jobserve Community Stadium, the Twickenham Stoop stadium, and the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield. Read more

Four companies make bids for Serie A TV rights
Italian top-flight Serie A is moving into the second stage of its broadcasting rights bidding process, with four media companies having made bids.
Lega Serie A chief executive Luigi De Siervo confirmed that four broadcasters – Sky, DAZN, Mediapro and Discovery – had made bids for the league’s pay-TV rights for the 2021 to 2024 cycle. The league is seeking €1.15 billion per season for the 2021-24 rights cycle. Read more

Tokyo Olympics’ organizers release playbook to keep COVID-19 at bay
No chanting, no singing, no handshakes or hugs. Instead of that, mandatory testing for all the athletes, and strict restrictions for all the visitors. Tokyo Olympics organizers unveiled playbook outlining measures against COVID-19.
The 32-page playbook specifies rules ranging from personal hygiene to testing and tracing.
The officials expect athletes to be tested at least every four days. It has not been confirmed if any fans from abroad could be allowed to the venues. Read more

If your personal data is processed under Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR (i.e. processed on the basis of the consent you have given to the processing), you may withdraw your consent at any time without any impact on the lawfulness of the processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
7) You may lodge a complaint in respect of the processing of the above data to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (PUODO).
