Will US sports resume by late summer?
On Saturday (April 4) US President Donald Trump held a conference call with major sports leagues’ commissioners. President expressed his hope that it will be possible for sports to return by late summer. Trump also said that he expected the NFL season to open on time.
The participants of the conference call included NBA commissioner Adam Silver, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, and NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, as well as representatives of the Major League Soccer, PGA and LPGA tours and IndyCar.

Virtual Grand National attracted audience of 4.8m
Virtual Grand National, a computer-simulated horse race, has successfully replaced the actual event, which had to be cancelled.
With all the real horse racing cancelled in the UK due to the coronavirus pandemic, the computer simulation captured the imagination of almost five million fans who watched the event on television.
Most betting companies accepted bets for the virtual race. Bookmakers are now to donate over £2.6m to NHS charities from their profits from the event. Learn more

If your personal data is processed under Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR (i.e. processed on the basis of the consent you have given to the processing), you may withdraw your consent at any time without any impact on the lawfulness of the processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
7) You may lodge a complaint in respect of the processing of the above data to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (PUODO).
