Great performances in games against Norway and Honduras means, that before the last group match even kicks off, they do not have to worry about their place in the knockout stages.
La Celestes are confident of moving on to the next round too. Like New Zealand, they have a 100% win record from both their previous games and Thursday’s duel will be the match for deciding who will Finish first in group C. Both teams lost their previous game, but the Norway team definitely looked better than today’s opponents. The Scandinavians are playing below expectations but not as bad as the results suggest.
Honduras on the other hand, have not even scored a single goal and they’ve had only 5 shots on target during the competition so far. It’s turned into a bit of a nightmare for the Honduras fans.

Nigeria U-20 – Ukraine U-20
Venue: Bielsko-Biala Stadium, Bielsko-Biała
The next game today will be a meeting between Nigeria, who are fighting for promotion, and Ukraine, whose place in the knockout stages is already safe. Nigeria are playing quite well. In the first match, they smashed Qatar 4-0, in their second game they lost to the USA, but they were in no way outplayed by their opponents.
Ukraine are already confident of advancing to the next phase of the championships thanks to two wins in the group so far. Ukraine have shown us that although they have a team that’s not dominant, they have a very solid defense and have been successful when shooting on goal.

USA U-20 – Qatar U-20
Venue: Tychy Stadium, Tychy
The last match to be played on Thursday will be the match between the weakest team in group D – Qatar, and the USA, who were the team tipped to take first place in the group. The United States in their last match against Nigeria, won thanks to two goals from Sebastian Soto. To ensure promotion, the players from America will need 3 points from today’s meeting.
Qatar after two defeats in a row have been left with a very poor chance of getting to the next round. In the match against the USA, they will be fighting to get their first goal at these championships and it looks like it will probably be their last match in Poland.
