This game between Honduras and Uruguay will be a duel for the team that disappointed in their first round match, against the team that carries the tag of being favorites to win this group. Honduras was not able to create any really good opportunities to score and they had only 2 shots on target. In the match against Uruguay, they will definitely have to play better if they want to score and give themselves a chance of winning the game.
Uruguay In their first match defeated Norway 3-1 after a very good game. The three points were well deserved, but the match was more even than the result suggests. Up until now, Uruguay has played against Honduras only once before (in 1977) and they won 1-0.

After their first match, Norway may feel disappointed, because they lost despite having a very good game against Uruguay. The match could have been completely different because the Scandinavians had a few good opportunities to score but their finishing was just not good enough.
New Zealand had a surprisingly easy start and a big victory in their first-round match against Honduras. It was, in fact, the nation’s biggest win in any FIFA U-20 World Cup! They now go into their second match with a chance to secure promotion to the next round. The hero of the first round match was Ben Waine, who scored two goals in the first half.
This match between Norway and New Zealand will be their first ever in this competition.

Qatar U-20 – Ukraine U-20
Venue: Tychy Stadium (Tychy)
The Qatar fans probably imagined quite a different result from their first-round match at these championships in Poland. Their team was completely dominated and suffered a big defeat at the hands of Nigeria (0-4). In this match against Ukraine, Qatar must prove that they are not a team who came to give easy points to their opponents.
The mood in the Ukraine team is completely different. Thanks to a very solid game in defense and a very good ratio of shots on target, to goals scored (2 goals with only 3 shots on target), the team from Europe defeated the group favorites – the United States. Ukraine has not had the opportunity to play against Qatar so far, so if they can claim their first ever victory against this team, they can secure promotion to the next round.

USA U-20 – Nigeria U-20
Venue: Stadion Miejski (Bielsko-Biała)
In probably the most interesting match of the day, the USA will fight for their first points of this championship. The team from North America will have to give 110% after the defeat in their first match against Ukraine, which has put them in a difficult situation. There is some hope because in the match against Ukraine they were the better team, but they just could not convert this into goals.
Nigeria dominated Qatar in their first match (possession 59% – 41%). During the match, Nigeria created a lot of goal opportunities and easily won 4-0. If the players from Africa play at the same level against the USA, they will put themselves in a good position to add some more points to their total.
These teams have played once before, in the semi-final of the U-20 World Cup in Saudi Arabia, where after extra time Nigeria went on to win 2-1
