Before you get integrated

When it can be demanding to have a range of solutions that are so good that customers can’t wait to get their hands on them? When you work for STATSCORE! Customers expect to get the products straight away, once the order is placed but the proper integration process is a procedure that secures the best quality… and takes some time.

START THE FREE TRIAL

As many of you will know, we offer everyone our great free trials, where you can test, experience and get used to our ready-made solutions, that are designed to take your business to new levels. Of course, I’m talking about LivematchPro, ScoreFrame and PrematchPro, but once the trial is underway or coming to an end, what then? “I love it! Can we get it integrated for tomorrow?” And it disappoints me every time I have to say, I’m sorry, integration can take up some time. The response is often, why? So let me explain.

THE TRIAL

When we run the free trial, customers are happy and understand why we offer a ready-made version of a product that’s ready to be used. Why do we do this? Well, it saves a lot of time and most trial accounts can be up and running on the same day as the request is made! It also saves your time, there are no long questionnaires to complete and no taking up the valuable time of any developers on your side. It’s a win-win situation!

INTEGRATION

Once the decision has been made to upgrade from the trial it’s time to swing into action. So what’s involved? The first thing we need to do is get a contract agreement in place and secure a completion date. Although this is not a long process it can still take a few days to finalize. Once the contract is in place, our IT Team can start the process of customization so they can deliver a solution that’s tailor-made just for you! Every customer is rightly different and the time needed for this can vary. So OK what’s next? Mapping!

MAPPING

This is a premium service. Mapping can take up a lot of time. So what is mapping? Some of you may know the answer, but for those that don’t, I’m going to try and explain it as simply as possible. Many of our customers obtain services from different companies at the same time and mapping is a process that makes sure that the ID code’s used by each company recognize each other – so far so good.

Let’s us an example to show what I mean and I’m going to use football teams to do this (please note all ID’s used are made up). As a company we will assign an ID code to a team, let’s say Chelsea’s ID code is – 3452 and for another company it’s B635, to place the information from both companies in the same place they need to be paired and this is mapping.

Hopefully, it sounds simple, but there’s much more coding to be done. For example, there may well be a code for a match e.g. Chelsea vs Manchester United, so now, not only will each team have an ID code, but the match and the competition may also be assigned ID codes and this is one of the reasons why your integration could take up to two weeks to complete.

I hope this information has been helpful but please feel free to contact us at any time if you want to know more!   You can reach us via email cst@statscore.com or pay a visit to our website and speak to us via the LiveChat.
