STATSCORE staff meet to plan and celebrate

So this is Christmas… Actually, it is almost Christmas, but the great seasonal song’s lyrics fit quite well here. At STATSCORE we used the final days before the short holidays to plan the next two months and celebrate together the festive time and our successes in 2018.

We met again in Novotel in Katowice, which conference space allows us to invite our big ‘family’ to discuss the achievements and goals together. As you might have known, we work with the SAFE methodology. It means that our working time is divided into separated terms of two months each. Since we are about to start PI-14, we wanted to take this opportunity to plan properly the use of resources together.

But first things first – to know how to get somewhere you need to understand where you are starting from.

This is why we opened  our discussion with the short updates from all teams about their achievements in PI-13. The heads of: HR, Scouts, Customer Success, Creative, Editors and IT A and IT B teams talked the main goals accomplished over the last two months.

INSPIRATION IS THE KEY

Then the floor was taken by Tomasz Myalski, the CEO and founder of STATSCORE, who presented the idea of Objective and Key Results and its importance for the company. This will be a game changer in our approach in 2019.

2018 – A YEAR TO REMEMBER

2018 has been indeed a great year for STATSCORE. Just let us remind, that only this year we signed the official data providers agreements with two another top leagues from Europe: Polish PHL and Slovak Slovnaft Handball Extraliga. Our continuous growth was awarded by Deloitte Technology FAST 50 Central Europe.

After the inauguration of the meeting the teams split to work hard and discuss the plans in smaller groups. Then we presented the final plan for PI-14 and the hierarchy of the epics. This allowed everyone to understand what are the priorities for the company and how every single employee may help to achieve the common goals.

The official part of the meeting was closed with the presentation of the goals of our newly introduced News Center.

The day was closed with a dinner. We love working but we are also big fans of great cuisine and celebrating together. 2018 – what a year!
