PGNIG Superliga partnership with STATSCORE

PGNIG Superliga are pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with STATSCORE, who have been the official provider of data and statistics to the Superliga since the start of the 2017/2018 season.

STATSCORE are based in Poland and are a leading suppliers of sports data and specialized software for statistics. STATSCORE’s database of customers is made up from companies all around the world, and include federations, sports clubs, web portals and bookmakers. In 2016 they were placed 6th in the prestigious Deloitte’s award for “Rising Stars” A category for the fastest growing innovative technology companies in Central Europe.

The agreement will see both parties working together until the end of the 2019/2020 season and with the possibility of continued co-operation beyond this date. STATSCORE will create a dedicated IT system for gathering and processing the data from all the leagues and matches organised under the Superliga heading. STATSCORE acquires the exclusive rights to collect, archive and distribute the data from all Superpliga PGNIG matches. Under the agreement STATSCORE will also provide graphical data presentations, and these will be used on the website and the mobile application.

According to Tomasz Myalski, CEO of STATSCORE, the cooperation between the two sides will increase the interest in Handball, “Nowadays fans want to be as close as possible to the team, they want to know the results of games as quickly as possible and they need access to the widest possible database of statistics. Thanks to the partnership agreement with the Superliga, I believe that together, we are able to deliver an innovative product of the highest quality. I am sure that our solution will attract new fans, and will provide existing fans with a completely new and exciting way to interact with the sport they love.
